Natural inspiration for children
Children have boundless imaginations. Where we see a dead tree in the forest, they see a dragon they must defeat with their branch swords. Nature stimulates their senses and challenges their creative imagination. What's more, playing outside has a positive effect on their immune system and has been proven time and again to be important for their motor and cognitive development. LeefJeNatuur has installed a number of nature play elements for endless fun during your stay. Make sure your child is allowed to get dirty!
Play tree
We had to cut down a leaning, dying ash tree as a preventive measure. But now it serves as a play element for our adventurous children. Its side branches encourage all kinds of climbing and scrambling games.
Climbing and scrambling forest
Seven interconnected Robinia trunks invite children to playfully train their balance and climbing and scrambling skills. Let them use their imagination and disappear into their play.

Willow dome
What could be more fun for your child than hiding in the coolness of an “igloo” made of willow branches? They can shut themselves off from all the outside stimuli and let their imagination run wild, pretending it's their own little house. Even our dog Mazzel was a big fan right from the start!

Stepping posts
Your children will playfully train their motor coordination and balance on the stepping posts: feel free to let them take on this challenge. Try to trust that this exercise is important for their development. If they are allowed to practise these skills on their own initiative and have fun doing so, it will certainly contribute to the development of their self-confidence.
